The seemingly random death of a delivery driver in Berlin leads investigators Robert Karow and Susanne Bonard into a complex case of identity theft, illegal employment, and organized crime. The deceased was living under a stolen identity—his backpack, a crucial piece of evidence, has disappeared.
The trail leads to the Federal Printing Office, the “Fort Knox” of German documents. There, the driver Tomas Rey is said to have not only delivered food, but also been involved in a coup involving highly sensitive documents.
