Ostfriesenstorm

While Ann Kathrin Klaasen waits for someone on a busy beach in Norden, she recalls a spectacular case she had to solve during a lockdown. In a holiday apartment on the East Frisian coast, the body of a man is discovered. The unusual method of killing suggests the involvement of organized crime. Shortly afterward, a well-known neo-Nazi is murdered in a similar way, pointing to the work of a serial killer.

The investigation leads Ann Kathrin Klaasen and her team to a shared apartment of women in Oldenburg. However, when a third murder occurs—similar, yet indicating different motives—the case takes a new turn. She uncovers a family with dark secrets and a disturbed teenager whose desperate act causes the situation to escalate. While the boy is on the run, he falls into the hands of the killer, who has already set his sights on the next victim.
