Ein Sommer an der Moldau

What at first glance looks like a romantic river cruise on the Vltava is in fact quite different: Sophie is to work as a private investigator on board the “Svoboda”. Little Katka’s grandparents hope that the detective can find out if the girl is really okay with her father. Sophie had already turned down the job – children are not really her thing at the moment. But when her boyfriend Florian then brings up the subject of family planning, Sophie takes flight. Off to the Vltava. Off to the “Svoboda”.

To their surprise, Tomasz, Katka’s father, does not at all correspond to the image that the commissioning grandparents have drawn of him: Tomasz is a loving father who tries in an unconventional way to deal with the death of his wife and to be there for his daughter. And so Sophie learns about the construct of “family” as something that gives her a completely new perspective on her life.

15 years ago the father of chief inspector Ann Kathrin Klaasen was killed – until today the crime has not been solved.

This leaves its mark, especially on Ann Kathrin, who still can’t come to terms with the case. Her colleague Frank Weller therefore advises her to seek help from a doctor.

When they arrive at the practice, they have a fateful encounter: in the wallet of an elderly lady, Ann Kathrin sees a photo of her father, who is photographed together with a woman she does not know.

Getrud Klocke insists that the man is the fiancé of her deceased daughter. But Ann Kathrin is sure: this can only be her father.

When the inspector goes to visit Gertrud in the retirement home shortly afterwards, she finds her lifeless in a beach chair on ..

Barfuß durch Australien

Svenja (38) is tough. A business lady who jets around the world to spruce up “aging” luxury hotels. Her daughter Kira (16) doesn’t find this life thrilling at all. Every time she gets used to a place, Svenja and her move again to a new country and Kira has to start from scratch. And all because her mother runs away – from the sedentary life, her ex-boyfriend who waits in vain for her in Berlin and does not understand why she is so reluctant to spend a happy future with him.
In beautiful Australia, on the Murray River, Svenja goes about her daily business, while Kira falls in love with Jack (17), a young Aborigine, and immerses herself with him in the mystical, nature-loving traditions of his people.

Simply Nina

Today is Nina’s big day. The day she will stop hiding and finally express her truest self. What the 8-year-old girl doesn’t know yet is that her decision will make quite a fuss in the neatly trimmed front yards of the small village neighbourhood. Even her own family is quite surprised once their son “Niklas“ wants to go to school in a pretty dress all of a sudden. Because until yesterday, Nina was still “Niklas“. But, actually, she has always been Nina. Only for her parents she has always pretended to be “Niklas”.

Dr. Hoffmann – die russische Spende

This is not the first time that Dr. Hoffmann has been persuaded to take over the night shift in the emergency room for a colleague.
But this time the shift turns into a real drama. Misha Tzhenkov, an employee of the hospital’s cleaning crew, dies that evening in the emergency room. However, since he had only recently been discharged from the hospital in good health, Dr. Hoffmann does not believe in a natural death – and what’s more, the dead man’s patient file has now disappeared.

Dr. Hoffmann tells Celine about the case. The math teacher has a suspicion she wants to investigate.

And so the two get involved in a criminal case and become more and more involved in the mafia-like machinations of the clinic management.
